A study of windows and shutters to sixteenth century Dutch houses. A combination of opening windows and pairs of shutters mounted at low and high level, internally and externally produces a rich range of possibilities for light, view and privacy. The study window is show at the equinox, winter and summer solstices based on a south facing window at 10.30am, +52.3667, +4.9000.
